Eagle Copters

Eagle is a global helicopter sale, leasing and fleet maintenance company with offices in Canada, Australia and the United States. A tour of their operations in Calgary, Alberta was an experience I will never forget. Hanger after hanger of mechanics working their magic and, in some cases, transforming a basic helicopter into one that is mission specific. Best known for re-engineering a Bell Medium helicopter into a fire-fighting machine, they managed to create a helicopter with the highest payload on the market today. Fire-fighting, tourism, passenger transportation, emergency services and utility services require the use of their helicopters.

They approached us requiring a brand refresh including new brand identity, website, suite of sales and promotional materials as well as a new, and might I say, huge tradeshow booth for the global show. We got to work. Using or four-phase strategic planning process, which included customer in-depths and a complete competitor review, the internal branding session was successful in determining the right positioning and messaging given the direction they wanted to take the business.  I’m particularly proud of the logo as we had to ensure it accommodated an icon for use on speciality products. It gives me joy to drive past their boldly branded hangars on McKnight Blvd. While we didn’t design their new website, we did develop the written content and art directed the images.
